Hot take: Just enjoy the game without obsessing over shinies. The odds are low, and the grind can take the fun out of the adventure. But, if you must, Masuda Method plus Shiny Charm is the way to go. Just saying, there's more to the game than shiny Pokémon.

Shiny farming in Pokemon Violet can really test your patience, but boy is it rewarding when you see that sparkle! The Masuda Method is your best friend here - breed two Pokémon from different language games. It significantly increases your shiny chances. Also, don't forget about the Shiny Charm which you can earn by completing the Paldea region Pokedex; it further boosts your shiny rates. Last tip, patience and persistence are key. Happy hunting!

I've been shiny hunting in Pokemon Violet for months and here's my two cents: Masuda Method isn't just hype, it legitimately works. Got myself a shiny Riolu after about 200 eggs. Remember to get that Shiny Charm as it makes a huge difference. Also, roam around - some shinies can pop up when you least expect it during your adventures in Paldea!
