Oh, that's an easy fix! Just hit your tilde key (`~`) to open the console and type in 'cl_showhud 1'. This command turns your HUD back on in a flash. Remember, if your console isn't enabled, go to your game settings, find the 'Game Settings' menu, and turn on the console from there.

I had this issue last week! Thought I messed up my game settings big time. Turns out, you just need to type 'cl_showhud 1' in the console. Also, make sure your console is enabled from the game settings first. Worked like a charm for me!
