Just delete your old game, dude. Go to System Settings on your Switch, Data Management, then find Pokemon Violet and delete the saved data. But heads up, it’s a one-way trip with no coming back.

Starting a new save file in Pokemon Violet is pretty easy but remember it'll overwrite your existing game, so back up if you need to! Just boot up your Nintendo Switch, fire up Pokemon Violet, and on the title screen, before you continue your adventure, there'll be an option to start a new game. Just follow the prompts, and you're all set for a new journey!
