How to start surfing in CS:GO

Just hop onto a surf server and start sliding. Seriously, the trick is in the strafe. Don't press W, instead use A and D to steer while aiming with your mouse. It feels weird at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's super satisfying.

Starting to surf in CS:GO is all about finding the right community server. Open the game, go to Play, then Browse Community Servers, and search for 'surf' in the tags. There are tons of surf maps out there, so pick one that looks cool or is recommended for beginners. Remember, surfing is all about momentum and angle—so start slow, keep your mouse movements smooth, and you'll be catching those digital waves in no time!

Actually, just YouTube it. There are so many great tutorials that visually show you how to start, and honestly, seeing it is way easier than reading about it. Plus, you get to see what works and what doesn't in real time.
HobbyWarning
You don't. Surfing in CS:GO is a rabbit hole. You start sliding on those ramps, and next thing you know, you're 100 hours deep, trying to beat that one map. Beware.
