How to stop time in CS:GO

Oh, wanna pull a Dr. Strange in CS:GO, huh? Well, you can't actually stop time in a live game (that would be kinda cheaty, don't you think?), but you can 'freeze' time in a private server. Just open the console (~ key) and type 'sv_cheats 1' to enable cheats. Then, enter 'host_timescale 0'. Voila, time stops. Remember, only works in private matches where you have admin rights. Don’t try this in competitive, or you'll disappoint both friends and foes!

Tried it once in a custom server with friends. Host_timescale 0 does the trick, but make sure everyone's on board. Turns a regular match into a weird, hilarious freeze-frame movie.

No can do, buddy. Stopping time in CS:GO's official competitive matches is a big no-no. Playing with time requires access to game commands that are only available on private or cheat-enabled servers. So keep it clean and fair in the real matches!
