How to Stretch CS:GO without NVIDIA

AMD user here! Just open up your AMD Radeon Settings, go to Display - there should be a Scaling option. Set it to 'Full Panel' and boom, your game should stretch to fill the screen without any black bars. Make sure CS:GO is set to the resolution you want to stretch in the game settings too.

If you're not using NVIDIA and want to stretch CS:GO, you gotta use your monitor's built-in settings. Look for an aspect ratio or display mode setting and switch it to 'Full Screen' or similar. This should make the game stretch to fill your monitor.
GameTweaker
A pro tip: If your monitor and GPU settings don't do the trick, check if your game.ini file in CS:GO's folder has any aspect ratio commands you can tweak. Sometimes manually setting it there works when all else fails.
BlackBarBob
Honestly, stretching the game isn't even worth it. You get used to the black bars and it doesn't really give you any advantage. Plus, it can make everything look weirdly wide.
