First off, you gotta add the friend you wanna trade with on Steam. Once you're buddies, hit up the Steam overlay in CS:GO, and click on 'Friends & Chat'. Find your mate's name, click on it, and select 'Invite to Trade'. Easy peasy, you'll be swapping cases in no time! Just remember, both of ya need to have Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for 15 days to trade immediately, or else you're stuck waiting.

Simpler than you think: get your friend on Steam, hit trade, and select the cases you wanna swap. Don’t forget, both need Steam Guard activated for 15 straight days or expect to be put on hold.

IMO, trading in CS:GO is a hassle. Just buy the cases you want directly from the market. Saves you the headache.

Trading cases sounds cool, but honestly, selling them on the market and buying what you really want might be the smoother route. Plus, you avoid the whole scam risk thing.
