I was so confused at first, but it's actually really simple. Press Y to get to the Y-Comm, then hit + to connect. The first time I did it, I thought it didn't work, but then I realized my Switch wasn’t connected to my Wi-Fi. Rookie mistake! Make sure your internet connection is solid.
