Unlocking the Island Trader in Stardew Valley is a bit of a journey but worth every step. First off, you need to repair the boat at the back of Willy’s Fish Shop, which requires 200 Hardwood, 5 Iridium Bars, and 5 Battery Packs. Once that’s set, take a trip to Ginger Island.
