Not really a fan. Pikachu's cute, but there are stronger Electric types out there. It's all about that base stat total, and Pikachu's just doesn't stack up against some of the newer Pokemon you can catch in the Paldea region. Sure, it's good early on, but you might want to switch it out for something with more punch later in the game.

Pikachu's not just good in Pokemon Violet, it's iconic! Caught one early in the game and it carried my team through so many battles with its electric moves. Plus, who doesn't want that adorable electric mouse cheering them on? 10/10, would recommend.

Ya, Pikachu's solid. Good speed, decent attacks. Great for taking down Flying and Water types especially. Just make sure to evolve it at the right time for max stats.
