Is Pokemon Scarlet local co-op?

Nope, Pokemon Scarlet, like its sister game Pokemon Violet, doesn't support traditional local co-op play. You can't split your screen and adventure together in the same room. However, both games offer online multiplayer features, so you can still team up with friends over the internet to explore, battle, and trade!

Short answer: No local co-op. You gotta connect online to play with friends. It's all about that internet life!

Sadly, no, Pokemon Scarlet misses out on local co-op, which kinda bummed me out. Tried setting up a game night with my sibling, thinking we could explore Paldea together from our couch, but turns out, online's the only way. Still fun to link up and play, just not the same.
