Are all the Apex Legends characters the same speed?

Nope, they're not the same speed. I always outrun my buddies when I'm playing Octane.
Actually, all Legends do move at the same base speed. The feeling that some are slower is just an illusion created by their animations and hitbox sizes. Especially for larger characters like Gibraltar, it might seem like they lumber around more, but when everyone's sprinting weapon-free, they're equally fast.
