Absolutely! While holo cards often grab the spotlight for their shiny allure, non-holo Pokemon cards can also hold significant value, especially if they're first editions, part of a limited print run, or feature popular Pokemon. Rarity and condition also play huge roles in determining a card’s value. So, don't sleep on those non-holo cards; they might just surprise you!

Short answer: Yes! Some non-holo cards, especially those that are rare or used in competitive play, can be quite valuable. Rarity, demand, and condition are key.

Don't judge a card by its lack of shimmer! I've been collecting Pokemon cards for years, and some of my non-holos are among my most prized possessions for their rarity and role in competitive decks. Rarity and demand can make a non-holo card a hidden gem.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
