Yep, Apex Legends and Titanfall actually share the same universe! Apex Legends is set in the same world as Titanfall but takes place after the events of Titanfall 2. You won't pilot any Titans in Apex, but you'll notice a lot of references and similar tech. Plus, some of the weapons and locations have that unmistakable Titanfall vibe.

Short answer: Yes! They're in the same universe, just Apex Legends takes place later. No Titans in Apex though, just ground action and cool abilities.
