Mostly nostalgia but yea, they can fetch a pretty penny. Just don't expect to retire on them unless you've got something super rare in mint condition.

Base Set 2 cards? They're cool for the nostalgia but financially? Meh, not really. There's way better investments out there in the Pokemon TCG world.

Oh, absolutely! Base Set 2 Pokemon cards can be worth a nice chunk of change, especially if you've got some of the rarer cards in good condition. It's all about the rarity and condition, my friend. A mint condition Charizard? You're looking at some serious cash. Just remember, the market can be pretty volatile, so prices can shoot up or drop depending on demand.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
