Absolutely! A bye in an MTG tournament means you automatically advance to the next round without having to play a match. It's like getting a free pass while you take a break, snack, or scout your potential competition. Not only does it give you a strategic advantage by saving your energy and keeping your deck's strategies a bit more secret, but it also reduces the number of rounds you need to win to get to the top. So yeah, byes are pretty sweet.

Nah, byes are overrated. I'd rather play every round. You're there to play MTG, not sit around!

Byes are a double-edged sword. Sure, advancing without playing is cool, but it also means less playtime. For me, the thrill of the game outweighs the strategic advantage of a bye.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
