Are Cards in Hand Considered Under Control in MTG?
RepeatingRitz路7 months agoNope, cards in hand are not considered under control in MTG. You only control cards that are on the battlefield. Think of it as your hand being like the strategy room where plans are made (but not yet in action), and the battlefield is where those plans come to life!

Cards in hand? Control? Nah, you control the cards you've played that are chilling on the battlefield. Your hand is just your arsenal, waiting to be deployed.
Actually, only cards on the battlefield are under your control. Cards in your hand are just potential moves.
