Lol, in the grand tradition of Magic The Gathering, where flavor text often merges with game mechanics in delightful ways, yes, changelings CAN technically be considered food, but not in the way you're thinking. There are cards that let you sacrifice a creature to gain some benefit, right? Well, since changelings are every creature type at all times, this means they are also Cows, Pigs, and other food-related creature types. So, if you're playing a card that benefits from sacrificing a food-type creature, your changeling can be on the menu. But remember, this is more about the fun and strategy of MTG's game mechanics than an actual culinary critique!

Absolutely not, you can't just chow down on a changeling like it's a piece of cake. MTG is a game of strategy, not a cooking class!

Oh, for sure, if you're creative enough. I once used a changeling in a game to activate a 'sacrifice a creature' effect by pretending it was a delicious Elk. My opponent didn't find it as amusing when their meticulously planned strategy got eaten... literally.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
