Creature abilities in MTG can feel a bit like instant magic because you can often use them whenever you could cast an instant, especially if they don't specifically say 'activate only any time you could cast a sorcery'. So yeah, unless the ability says otherwise, treat it like your very own instant spell!

Nope, not all of them! It depends on what the card says. Some abilities are at sorcery speed. Always read the fine print!

Quick tip: If the creature鈥檚 ability doesn鈥檛 have the tap symbol or doesn鈥檛 say it鈥檚 limited to sorcery speed, you can usually activate it whenever you could play an instant. Saved my skin in games more times than I can count!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
