Nah, creatures aren't the only things that can go on the offensive in MTG. While they're your main attackers, some planeswalkers can also get in on the action indirectly through their abilities. Plus, certain spells and abilities can deal damage directly to opponents or their creatures. It's all about the strategy!

Absolutely not! Ever heard of a sneaky little artifact creature? There you go, not just creatures, but also other card types can and will attack your life points directly or indirectly. And let's not forget about those spells. Fireball to the face, anyone?

Creatures are your primary attackers but don't overlook those spells. Direct damage spells can zap opponents just as well!

Only creatures can attack. Stick to that, and you'll never get confused.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
