Yep, many Dragon Ball characters are named after food! For example, Saiyans are named after vegetables (Vegeta = vegetable, Kakarot = carrot), and Bulma’s family are all named after undergarments (Bulma means bloomers!). It's an inside joke from Akira Toriyama.

Totally! Master Roshi's real name is Muten Roshi, where 'Muten' can mean 'heavenly hermit,' but Roshi is more like 'old geezer' – not exactly food, but still a fun name! Also, Majin Buu is named after the song “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” from Cinderella, which is not food again but part of the silly naming scheme!

This one's easy: YES. Great names like Garlic Jr., Colonel Silver, and Raditz (radish) are all part of the hilarious naming trend.
