Are Emblems considered Artifacts in MTG?
CarryingTree路7 months agoNope, emblems aren't artifacts in Magic The Gathering. They're a totally different kind of thing that isn't a card and you can't interact with them using spells or abilities that target artifacts. Emblems usually come into play due to a planeswalker's ability and they sit in the command zone, giving you some kind of ongoing advantage without being an artifact, creature, or any type of card really.

Emblems and artifacts are as different as apples and oranges in MTG. Emblems can't be destroyed, targeted, or interacted with by any cards that affect artifacts. So, no, they're definitely not artifacts.
Hard no. Emblems are more like untouchable rules you get to apply
- totally not artifacts.
