Totally legit question! So, Game Freak doesn't actually make Pokemon cards themselves. The Pokemon Trading Card Game (PTCG) is developed by Creatures Inc. It's a common mix-up though, cause Game Freak does create the Pokemon video games. So, while Game Freak is a big name in the Pokemon universe, the cards are a separate adventure handled by a different company.

nah, Game Freak doesn't make the Pokemon cards. That's all Creatures Inc. Game Freak sticks to the video games side of the Pokemon world.

Yes and no. Game Freak is behind the Pokemon franchise which includes the TCG, but they don't directly create the cards. That's done by Creatures Inc. However, without Game Freak, there wouldn't be any Pokemon cards in the first place, so in a way, they're part of the larger Pokemon card reality.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
