Yeah, Gates are functioning just as intended in MTG Arena. They’re a slow but powerful land type that can supercharge specific decks, especially those using the Gate payoffs from the Ravnica sets. They work by entering the battlefield tapped, slowing you down a bit, but the payoff with cards like 'Circuitous Route' or 'Guild Summit' can be game-winning. Just remember, the Arena follows the same rules as the physical game, so if it works on your kitchen table, it works in Arena.

Absolutely not, gates are OP (overpowered)! Every time I play against a gate deck, I feel like there’s no way to win. They might be working 'correctly,' but boy do they need a balance check!

Gates work fine, but they're just lands. The real magic happens with the cards that synergize with them. It's all about how you use them in your deck strategy.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
