Nah, keep 'em on! They make the wasteland look epic. Just upgrade your graphics card, lol.

Yep, god rays can be pretty taxing in Fallout 4, especially on older hardware. They're gorgeous, but they eat up a good chunk of your GPU's power. If you find the game lagging, turning down the god rays quality can give your frame rate a nice boost.

Honestly, I turned them off. Noticed a considerable improvement in performance on my rig, and I didn't miss them that much. Sometimes, it's about choosing between prettiness and playability.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
