Yep, gold plastic Pokemon cards are real, but they're not part of the official Pokemon TCG game. They're more like collectible items or special edition cards that might be released for promotional purposes or as part of limited edition merchandise. So while you won't be using them in your next battle, they're definitely a cool addition to any collection!

Gold plastic cards aren't official TCG cards, but they are real in the sense that they exist as collectibles. They're not gonna be what you want for the game, but they sure look shiny on a shelf!

Nope, if you're thinking official game play, those gold plastic cards are just for show. More novelty than anything.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
