Yup, GTA games share a universe but not in the way you might think. Each game has its own story and set of characters, but there are Easter eggs, references, and recurring characters that create a sense of connection. Think of it as a shared universe where some elements crossover!

Absolutely not. Each GTA game is its own beast. Sure, you might catch a familiar face or a place name here and there, but that's more of an Easter egg than a real connection. Don't expect a Marvel Cinematic Universe kind of link.

From my experience, GTA games nod at each other. Played GTA IV and then GTA V, and the references to Liberty City in Los Santos hit differently. It's subtle, but it's there. They're connected but more like distant cousins than siblings.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
