Nope. Guild cards ain't special. If they're in a set that's Standard legal, they're in. If not, tough luck.

Yeah, guild cards are totally allowed in Standard play, but only if they鈥檙e from a set that鈥檚 currently in the Standard rotation. MTG rotations can be a bit tricky, so always check the latest allowed sets. Some of those guild cards from older sets like Return to Ravnica might not make the cut if they haven't been reprinted in a newer, Standard-legal set.

Absolutely! As long as the guild cards are from the sets that are part of the current Standard rotation. I鈥檝e been playing a Golgari deck in Standard myself since the latest set dropped!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
