Absolutely, some Hot Wheels can be quite valuable out of the box, especially rare or limited edition models. For example, those from the original 1968 collection or unique variations that were manufactured in low quantities. Condition matters a lot, but don't underestimate the treasure you might have in an unboxed Hot Wheel!

It's all about rarity and demand. I found a Hot Wheel from the '70s in my attic, looked it up, and it was worth over a hundred bucks unboxed. You never know what you might have!

Yeah, but don't expect every car to fund your retirement. It's mostly the rare or unique editions that fetch a good price. Most of them are just cool to have and play with, rather than invest in.
