Totally depends on what cards you're talking about, but generally speaking, Japanese Pokemon cards can be worth more due to their limited availability outside of Japan and, sometimes, they have unique artwork not found on their American counterparts. That being said, there are plenty of American cards that are super rare and fetch a high price too. Rarity, condition, and demand are the big players in card value.

Just gonna drop this here: Japanese cards are cooler. End of story.

Honestly, it fluctuates. Some American exclusives are worth a ton, while Japanese promo cards can go through the roof. Check the market!

In my experience, Japanese Pokemon cards have a slight edge in value, especially the older, rarer ones. I've got a few in my collection that were appraised higher than their English versions!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
