Generally, English Pokemon cards tend to be worth more due to their wider global demand and accessibility. However, some Japanese cards, especially those that are exclusive or have limited releases, can fetch a high price among collectors. It really comes down to the rarity and uniqueness of the card itself, regardless of the language.

It's all about the rarity and condition, folks! But if we're playing the averages, English cards usually take the lead in value over their Japanese counterparts. That being said, a super rare Japanese promo card can easily outpace a common English one in the collector's market.

English cards, no contest. More collectors can read them, making them more desirable on a global scale.

Japanese all the way, if you ask me. They often get the cool stuff first, and some of those exclusive releases are worth a pretty penny!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
