Nope, lands are not spells in Magic The Gathering. Think of lands as the fuel station for your spell-slinging adventures. They're the resources you tap into to cast those game-winning spells. So, while you definitely need them to play your spells, they themselves are not spells.

Actually, lands are kinda the silent heroes of MTG. Not spells, but without them, your spell-casting game is gonna tank. Simple formula: No lands, no mana. No mana, no spells.

Lands in MTG? Not spells, my friend. They sit on the battlefield waiting to be tapped for that sweet mana, no casting required. Just drop 'em and tap 'em when you need that mana boost.

Hard disagree. Everything in MTG feels like a spell when you're playing four-color control. But technically, no, lands aren't spells. They're your mana base, quietly doing their job without any of the spell-casting fanfare.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
