Are Legends MTG card backs darker?
Nope, I think it's just a myth. All MTG cards from different sets are supposed to have the same card back design and color. Maybe it's just the lighting or the wear and tear that makes them look darker.

Absolutely, the Legends cards do have a slightly darker hue on the backs. I've got a bunch from my older brother, and they're definitely distinct from the newer ones. Makes them feel even more legendary, if you ask me.
Oh for sure, the Legends set from MTG does have card backs that appear darker compared to other sets. It's kinda like how vintage tee-shirts have a different vibe to them than the fresh ones you just bought. Something about the printing process back in the day gave them this unique touch.
