Depends on the night, honestly. Some LGS have specific nights for casual play and others for tournaments. Check their schedule.

In my experience, YES. If you're walking into a local game store for MTG, expect to face some serious competition. Players at these places aren't messing around. They've spent time and money on building the best decks, and they know how to use them. But don't let that scare you off; it's a great way to improve your game!

Oh, it totally depends on the store! Some local game stores (LGS) have a super chill vibe with players just there to have fun, share decks, and enjoy casual games. But then, you've got those stores where competitive play is the name of the game, and players bring their A-game with finely tuned decks. It's really about the community that hangs out there, so check out a few to see which vibe you dig.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
