Yup, metal Pokemon cards are totally official, but they're pretty special. Think of them as collector's items rather than your usual play deck material. They're not the kind you'd shuffle into your deck for a regular game at your local tourney, but more like something you'd proudly display or keep safe in your collection. So, if you get your hands on one, know you've got something pretty cool and official!

Nope, they're not for playing. Just for showing off!

Actually, metal Pokemon cards are official but super rare. Got one from a special event myself, and it's the jewel of my collection. Not something you'd use in an actual game, but definitely a treasure!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
