Wooden walls? In a world with Super Mutants and Scorchbeasts? You might as well invite them in for tea. Metal walls all the way – they stand up better to everything the wasteland throws at them.

Honestly, it depends on what you're after. If you want durability and protection, metal is your best bet. But if you're more into aesthetics and cost, wooden walls might be more up your alley. I've had my cozy wooden cabin survive quite a few encounters; just depends on how you use it.

Definitely, metal walls are the way to go in Fallout 76. Not only do they offer better damage resistance, making your base sturdier against attacks, but they also give that sleek, post-apocalyptic fortress vibe. Plus, bragging rights when your neighbors come over and see you're not living in a glorified shed.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
