Are MTG artifacts colored?
ReroutingTopaz路7 months agoNope, generally speaking, MTG artifacts are colorless. This means they don't require specific colored mana to play. However, there are exceptions, known as colored artifacts, introduced in certain sets like Alara Reborn. These special artifacts do require specific colored mana to cast!

Actually, not all artifacts in MTG are colorless. There's a bunch of colored artifacts out there. Ever heard of Darksteel Forge? Yup, that's a colored artifact for ya. They started adding them to spice things up, so now artifacts can be just as colorful as any other card type.
Colorless, bud. Artifacts are colorless. But, some sets throw in colored ones just to mess with us.
