Actually, no! MTG cards and regular playing cards are pretty much the same size. Both typically measure around 2.5 by 3.5 inches. So if you've been shuffling a deck of poker cards, you're already a pro at handling MTG cards!

Gotta disagree with the consensus here. Feels like MTG cards fit better in my hand than standard playing cards. Maybe it's just the way I shuffle 'em, but they seem snugger, somehow.

Nope, they're the same size! Easy to mix up in your game night rotation without noticing a size difference.
