Nah, changeling creatures are not artifact creatures by default. Changeling means they're every creature type. It's like being a universal adapter, not made of metal.

Nope, creatures with changeling aren't automatically artifact creatures. Changeling is a keyword ability that means the creature has all creature types at all times. It's more about adapting to any and all creature types, like Elves, Goblins, Merfolk, you name it. But being an artifact creature is about the material the creature is made of in the lore of the game, not its type. So unless specifically stated otherwise on the card or affected by another card's ability, changelings don't count as artifact creatures straight out of the box.

Actually, it's a common misconception but changeling creatures aren't artifact creatures unless another effect makes them so. I once used a deck focused on artifact creatures with a few changelings and had to learn this the hard way in a tournament!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
