MTG invitational tournaments themselves often have entry fees, but receiving an invite to such events, like the Pro Tour or a Mythic Championship, doesn't cost you anything directly. You earn these through performance in qualifying events or based on your ranking in competitive play, which might have their own costs associated with participating.

Nah, you gotta earn those bad boys through skill and a bit of luck in qualifiers or ranked play. No direct cost for the invite itself, but you're definitely putting in work (and possibly entry fees) to snag one.

Absolutely free! Well, if you ignore the blood, sweat, and tears (and maybe entry fees for qualifiers) it takes to actually get one.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
