Absolutely, MTG pre-releases are a blast! Not only do you get a first crack at the new cards, but you also get to experience the excitement of discovery and competition in a friendly, welcoming environment. Plus, it's a great way to meet other players in your community. The pre-release packs themselves often come with exclusive promo cards and enough boosters to give you a good start on the new set. If you enjoy the social and gaming aspects of MTG, pre-releases are definitely worth it.

Nah, save your money. Unless you're really into the social scene or dying to get your hands on cards early, you might find more value in just buying singles of the cards you actually want. Pre-releases can be fun, but they aren't the most economical way to build a competitive deck.

I always go to pre-releases and have never regretted it. You get to experience the new set before it officially drops, and I've had some of my best MTG moments there. Also, pulling a valuable card from a pre-release pack feels amazing鈥攜ou can't beat that thrill.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
