In my experience, not all of them bend. I've had plenty of foil cards from prereleases that stayed perfectly flat. It might just depend on how you store them or where you live.

Short answer: yes, they can bend. It's not just a prerelease thing, though. All foil cards have a tendency to curl over time. Best bet is to sleeve them up quick!

Honestly, I think the bending issue is way overblown. A little curve doesn't even affect gameplay. Just enjoy the shiny!

Yeah, MTG prerelease foils can sometimes get a bit bent. It's mostly due to how the foil cards are made and how they react to humidity and temperature changes. Keeping them in a cool, dry place and using card sleeves can help keep 'em straight.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
