MTG sample decks are actually a great starting point! They give you a taste of the game without overwhelming you with complexity. These decks are designed to be straightforward, making them perfect for learning the rules and getting a feel for how the game plays. Plus, they often introduce you to the game's basic strategies, which is invaluable for new players.

Absolutely not. You're better off building your own deck from scratch or getting a pre-constructed commander deck if you're serious about playing. Sample decks are too basic and won't stand a chance in most play environments.

Sample decks? Sure, they're fine if you're just starting out or teaching someone the game. But don't expect to win any tournaments with them. They're more like training wheels - great for learning, not so great for serious competition.

Honestly, sample decks are a hit or miss. They're definitely not competitive, but they are fun for casual play and can spark an interest in deck building. Also, if you and a friend both start with sample decks, it can make for an even playing field and a fun introduction to the game.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
