Nope, negative counters and damage are totally different beasts in MTG. Negative counters stay on a creature permanently (or until removed by some effect) reducing its power and toughness, think of it as a lasting wound. Damage, on the other hand, goes away at the end of the turn. It's like the difference between a scar and a bruise!

No, they're not the same. Negative counters are more severe since they can permanently weaken a creature, unlike damage that heals after a turn.

Gotta disagree with the confusion. Damage doesn't stick around - it's healed up at end of turn. Negative counters? Those are like bad tattoos for your creatures, permanent unless you've got a specific trick up your sleeve.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
