Nah, it's not just the first edition cards that are valuable. Sure, first editions can be worth a ton, especially if they're in mint condition and are sought-after cards. But there are plenty of other factors that can make a Pokemon card valuable. Special editions, misprints, and certain promotional cards can also fetch a pretty penny. It all depends on rarity, condition, and demand.

Only first editions? Nope. Limited releases and cards with unique attributes or errors can also be super valuable. Condition matters a lot too.

Honestly, the whole 'first edition or bust' mentality is outdated. You've got cards from recent sets selling for crazy amounts. It's all about what collectors are looking for.

First edition cards often get all the hype, but let's not forget about the shiny, holographic, and rare promo cards that can be just as valuable, if not more. Collector's editions and limited releases can surprise you.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
