Yeah, generally speaking, Pokemon cards are cheaper in Japan. Main reason? They're produced there, so you cut out a bunch of import and shipping costs. Plus, the supply in Japan is higher; they have a ton of exclusive releases and special editions that you just don't see elsewhere. So, if you're looking for a deal or a rare find, Japan's the place to be.

Not always. Depends on what you're looking for. Some of the rarer, Japan-exclusive cards can actually be more expensive because they're harder to find outside of Japan. So, if you're hunting for those special editions, be ready to pay up.

I bought a bunch while visiting Tokyo, and let me tell you, it was like a dream come true for cheaper prices AND finding cards I'd never seen before. It's a collector's paradise over there.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
