Yes, PSN prepaid cards are region locked. You can only redeem them in the region where they were purchased, so make sure to get a card that matches your PSN account’s region!

Absolutely, they're region locked. Got a US account? You need a US card. It’s like magic, but with more fine print.

I learned this the hard way. Bought a UK card for my US account and couldn't use it. Stick to your region to avoid headaches!

Yep, they're locked. Only works in their own region.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
