Are RDR and GTA in the same universe?
RegulatingHale路7 months agoNah, Red Dead Redemption (RDR) and Grand Theft Auto (GTA) aren't in the same universe, even though they're both made by Rockstar Games. Think of them as distant cousins that share some family traits but live in totally different worlds. RDR is set in the early 20th century with a Wild West vibe, while GTA slings you into modern-day (and slightly futuristic) crime sprees. While there are Easter eggs in GTA that nod to RDR, they're more like cheeky winks from the devs than proof of a shared universe.

Totally separate universes! RDR is all about that cowboy life, and GTA is the modern crime saga.
I think they are! Found John Marston's book in GTA V, seems like a clear link to me.
