Nah, Red Dead Redemption (RDR) and Grand Theft Auto (GTA) aren't in the same universe, even though they're both made by Rockstar Games. Think of them as distant cousins that share some family traits but live in totally different worlds. RDR is set in the early 20th century with a Wild West vibe, while GTA slings you into modern-day (and slightly futuristic) crime sprees. While there are Easter eggs in GTA that nod to RDR, they're more like cheeky winks from the devs than proof of a shared universe.

Totally separate universes! RDR is all about that cowboy life, and GTA is the modern crime saga.

I think they are! Found John Marston's book in GTA V, seems like a clear link to me.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
