Are Roles Considered Auras in Magic The Gathering?
ComposingGuru路7 months agoNope, roles aren't a thing in MTG. You might be thinking of 'roles' in a general gameplay sense, but in Magic The Gathering, 'Auras' are a specific type of enchantment card that you attach to creatures, players, or other permanents to grant them new abilities or modify their existing ones. So, to set the record straight, roles as a concept don't directly apply to MTG card types.

Not sure where 'roles' fit into MTG, but Auras are definitely a big deal. They're enchantments that you slap onto your creatures to beef them up or mess with your opponent's game. So if you're looking for 'roles' in the card types, you won't find 'em.
Lol, 'roles'? Sounds like someone's been mixing up their RPGs with MTG. In MTG, we deal with Auras, not roles. Auras are like fancy hats for your creatures. They make them stronger, weaker, or give them cool new tricks. There's no 'role-playing' aspect in the Auras' mechanic!
