Darker cards? Absolutely. It's part of the charm. Got a few in my collection that stand out because of it. Makes them unique, if you ask me.

Yep, some real Pokémon cards can indeed come a bit darker than others. It's all about the printing process. Just like any other printed material, variations can happen due to ink density or the paper used. It's totally normal and doesn't mean your card is fake. It just adds character to your collection!

Every batch of Pokémon cards can vary slightly because of the printing process. Some runs are darker, especially with older cards. I've seen it first hand with some vintage cards I own.

Nah, all genuine Pokémon cards should look the same. If it's darker, you're probably looking at a fake.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
